What is Fit For Life Bootcamp™?
The Fit For Life Bootcamp™ is a group training program led by Fit For Life Bootcamp™ personal trainers in dynamic, full-body workouts. By working as a team, the trainers and boot campers create a supportive environment to achieve weight loss, strength gain, body toning, and personal achievement in health and fitness.
Who can participate?
Anyone can participate who is in relatively good health. Although the program is best suited for men and women ages 25-55, younger and older will be accepted with trainer approval depending upon health status and fitness level.
Do I need to be in shape before I start?
Of course not! That’s the whole reason to get started!
Where do we meet?
We are currently running bootcamp classes at the Foster City Athletic Club (FCAC) at 1159 Chess Dr. in Foster City, CA.
Don’t I need a membership to FCAC to attend?
Fit For Life Bootcamp™ includes a pass to FCAC! No seperate FCAC membership needed to attend Fit For Life Bootcamp!
How is Fit For Life Bootcamp™ different from other fitness classes?
Fit For Life Bootcamp™ is an all encompassing fitness program that includes more than just the workouts. This program includes regular weight and body fat testing and a customized nutrition program. We also assess and monitor your improvements in strength, cardio and flexibility. Fit For Life Bootcamp also sets itself apart by its unique structure that builds a bootcamper “sub-culture”, where participants share in online forums, trade weight loss tips and strategies, and create lasting friendships built by training together as a team.
What if I’m not very physically fit?
No camper will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. If you have five or fifty pounds to lose, you’ll find that Fit For Life Bootcamp is just the program for you! Women and men of all ages, abilities and fitness levels who regularly attend Fit For Life Bootcamp will achieve incredible results.
How often will we meet?
Participants will meet 2-4 times per week, Monday thru Thursday, for a challenging 50 minute workout.
What if I can’t attend four days a week?
I know you’ll agree that some exercise is better than no exercise. So if you can’t make it four days a week, do your best to attend two or three days a week. Participants will achieve significant results while attending the minimum of two days a week.
What time are the camps?
We are currently running camps at 9am, 6pm and 7pm.
What if I’m too busy and don’t have time to come?
Professionally speaking…after working with thousands of clients over the years we have found that “I don’t have time” really means “I’d like to procrastinate a little longer.” The truth of the matter is that you can make time if you really want to change the way you look and feel. Ask yourself this: I’m I finally ready?
Ok, you make a good point… what do I need to bring?
Nothing. We’ll provide all the equipment, motivation, and accountability you’ll need. Just bring a water bottle and a sense of adventure! Oh, and make sure to eat 2 hours before, and snack on a few raisins or sliced apples 15 minutes before the session. We don’t want you to get light headed during our fun and energizing workouts!
What can I expect to achieve?
You can expect to drop inches and pounds while becoming more fit and toned. On average you’ll drop 4-8 pounds, 1-2 dress sizes, and 1-3% body fat every 30 days. The program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase self-confidence.

What type of exercise equipment will we use?
Be ready for anything! No two workouts will be the same. Some of the equipment will be conventional such as machines, barbells, dumbbells, ect. Other exercises include unconventional exercises using things equipment such as sandbags, kettlebells, slideboards and sledgehammers. We will also use typical small apparatus such as medicine balls and BOSU’s.
What does it cost to join?
