What they are saying is to eat only foods that would have been eaten by the caveman. I don't believe the caveman ate milk, so the answer to your question is yes. I'm not saying that is the way to go for everybody...but I'm sure most would benefit if they ate according to those rules.

In the book of Chinese Health and Healing by Daniel Reed, there is a chapter on milk that says it is not healthy, nor is it natural, for humans to consume milk. They believe it slows digestion, creates backlogs of mucus in the lymphatic system, is bad for the skin, and is in general to be avoided. They also say that it actually leeches calcium from the bones at the same time it adds to it, thereby not being a good source of calcium (after all, grown cows don't drink milk, and they have very strong bones.) A small bowl of Broccoli is a much greater source of calcium than is milk.

I personally have drank milk all my life and love it. So...everyone is different. However, if ever in my life I lose my fast metabolism and have a hard time staying lean, I would test leaving out dairy for a while to see how my body responded.

Thanks for the comment!
