Wow, I thought for sure the one item on the list that I really like (potato chips) would be much better for you than bacon or mystery meat hot dogs. I wonder if the baked chips are any better? The first thing I thought of when I read through the list was what Justin mentioned in regard to the deep fried twinkies. Thanks for sharing this list!

Well done, do you have more substitutes for the bad foods like you offer for soda.

When you take something away, you need to replace it with something else. Look forward to yur well thought out suggestion.

I have never understood the lure of soda. Its just so sickly sweet to me, and as you say its a lot of calories and to me it is for little enjoyment (if I am gonna eat some bad calories I am going to make sure they are worthwhile... like, really good chocolates).

Water is great. If people need something with more taste to it I would suggest some tea. There are some great high end tea places like http://www.lupiciausa.com and Teavana (be careful, they sugar everything that is out for sampling in their stores) that have some great green, white and rooibos teas. You can have a calorie free drink that tastes good and has lots of antioxidants and other good stuff.

Well, I am glad to here Danish Pastries and Cinnamon rolls are not on the list.I eat french fries only about twice a month. Don't eat fried food, twinkies,or Onion rings( except on Football trips when My friend orders them.)I only eat Lunch meats from Lunardis, Distal Turkey, Boars Head Pastrami and Virginia Baked Ham.Sometimes Corned Beef and Lunardis home baked Roast Beef. BUT once every 2 weeks I do Get Imported Mortadella from Italy( You know the one with Pistachio nuts and little pieces of fat in it?But I don't put cheese or mayo ont hat sandwich, just Mustard... the way Italians eat it

Now Lets talk about Hot Dogs! Hardly ever buy them to eat at home, though I did buy a package of Fat Free Turkey Dogs last weeks and smothered them in Some canned Chili with Cheese and onions. Sometimes in Berkely I go to Top Dog and then TRY to eat one Turkey Cilantro Dog along with a regular German Garlic.http://www.topdoghotdogs.com/

Drink Coke Zero or Sunkist Diet Orange, 2 cans a day usually. BUT in Disneyland recently I had Frozen Real Lemonaide and Real Coke!
